Wetlands Management

All of the District's projects revolve around the interest to control the mosquito population within Northeast Massachusetts for public health and nuisance related reasons. The Wetlands Management aspect focuses on the Integrated Pest and Vector Management Plan (IPVM) as to control pest populations with a variety of solutions. While not all control methods use pesticides, some practices do. The District thoughtfully assesses each case specifically to the needs of the community and the issue at hand.
